Clackamas Colton ~ Sophomore(2nd Year)

This will be a post in progress, but I like a location where I have all the info and links for my own reference as well as sharing with friends and family ... Colton's second year at Clackamas, his sophomore season, 2025-2026. I'll be updating along the way!

There are several sites I check throughout the basketball season ...
  • The Clackamas Basketball ~ 2025-2026 schedule, which also shows scores/stats from the previous games. Links to the roster and other info about the school as well.
  • The NWAC (NorthWest Athletic Conference) oversees thirty-six (36) community colleges located in Oregon, Washington and British Columbia. They have a website full of information on the basketball season; schedule, standings, stats, regions, results...
  • The NWAC Sports Network provides streaming for the games, so check that out for live action! I like to mirror from my phone to the larger television.
  • To follow the family social media, there will posts on Facebook and Instagram, and there is a YouTube playlist/highlights for these college games.  I'll update with links here as well.

Clackamas Colton - Sophomore Preseason

Colton is back at Clackamas for his second/sophomore season.

The schedule is out ... I'm putting dates on the calendar.
There is already one change (the Nov 5 game switched to Oct 24).

There was a Celebration of Life for Coach Wegs in September, and many/most of the former players came out for the memorial. The school paper did a write up on Coach Stamme, moving up to the head coach position (see it HERE).

The first preseason scrimmage was at Centralia on October 12, 2025. The mini-games were streamed, but required purchase of a pass ($40) for BallerTV. I was just happy I could watch! I was also able to make some highlight videos (Game 1/Lower Columbia, Game2/Centralia, Game3/EliteAcademy, Game4/GraysHarbor).  Then Clackamas hosted a jamboree on November 2 ... these mini-games weren't streamed, but Colton was able to get me footage after the fact. Five games. Colton hit the hardwood in the third game and ended up needing stitches (but he played the fourth/fifth games first).

The game against CorbanGold was more of a scrimmage - no stream, and no public (Grayson was actually in Portland that day/weekend). When there was no news of a stream to the Bellevue jamboree on November 8th, I suggested to Hubs that we fly out to catch the mini-games in person. And we did.

Now for the real season to start ...

Callahan - Basketball 2025

This will be a post in progress ...
updating throughout the year.

Cal still LOVES basketball ... he plays in several different Men's Leagues and Tournaments, sometimes heading up the team, other times being asked to play on various teams with players he's met along the way.  If I can make it out to a game, I try to. I still enjoy watching and videoing, and the boys seem to enjoy seeing the highlight reels.

Cal hadn't gotten his usual team together at Taylorsville since summer last year. They had been playing in the Wednesday night league, but there hadn't been enough teams signed up for Fall, and then they didn't make it in for Winter. Cal's basketball buddy Rowland had a team playing on Mondays at Gene Fullmer, and he joined them. Nice and close for me to drive to.

Winter Gene Fullmer League 2025
I remember I got the first text from Cal on January 6, at 6:00 saying he had a game at 7:00. He said this league had some teams that weren't as challenging, and that it would likely be a blowout ... several of the games turned out that way, although they lost one I watched, and then Cal was out of town for the finals/championship.  I made it to four games. January 6. January 13. January 27. February 3.  With all of Colton's Clackamas games going on, I wasn't getting to all the highlight videos in a timely manner. Cal stepped up and said he'd go through his game clips (saving me some time and repetition).

Cal was also playing in a league at the South Jordan Rec Center. He hadn't mentioned this one to me until it was over. I really wish I'd made it to their semi/championship game, as they won it! A couple of the guys (JoJo Elliot and Austin Evans) I know from previous years.  It wrapped up in March.

... and back to Taylorsville/Spring Semi-Comp, now playing on Mondays with a mixed team. Several from the previous Wednesday team and the Bolman Brothers. Going with the "Chillers" name and Rowland as "Coach".  I didn't hear about the first game until about an hour before (and I wasn't able to pull together and get there in time).I made it the next week, so there's a video of the April 21 game. Then Cal and Kate went on a trip to Italy and he missed two weeks. Highlights from 04/28, 05/19 and 06/02.  There was a playoff game June 9, but they didn't make it to the championships.

There have also been games at The Training Zone in Herriman on Sunday afternoons. When Colton was in town for Spring Break, he played with Cal in a game (and that provides me with a ride). March23. The brothers played together again at a game when Colton was home for the summer. July 13. Another tournament together (highlights from just one game, Aug 17 although they had a later game too. The team had Saturday games, but Colton was injured and Cal had other plans).
